How long does it take to get the test results?
It takes 3-5 weeks to get your MyPhenome™ test results back.
What do I do while I wait for my MyPhenome™ test results?
We will begin Phase I of your weight loss journey, known as the Balance and Restoration Phase. During this time, you will begin establishing changes needed to conquer your phenotype. This involves identifying derailers that cause you to struggle with weight loss and establish habits to minimize the impact the derailers have on your journey. You will also start fueling your body with foods that create a balance; one way of creating greater internal harmony is by decreasing your salt intake.
What happens after the test?
With MyPhenome™ test, you’ll have the knowledge and support to skip cycles of trial and error which are often costly, time-consuming, and exhausting. After the sample has been processed, a report will be published to your portal with results indicating your phenotype: Hungry Brain, Hungry Gut, or Emotional Hunger. We will use this information to tailor your weight loss treatment plan specifically for you.

How are meal plans customized?
Our meal plans are created based on your unique nutritional needs, weight loss goals, and personal preferences. We consider factors such as your phenotype, lifestyle, and dietary restrictions to design a plan that aligns with your specific health profile. You can choose the level of structure that suits you best, from full meal plans to options focused on a few key meals. Every plan includes balanced, nutrient-rich recipes that help support sustainable weight loss.
What are meal replacement options?
For those looking for a more structured approach to start, we offer meal replacement options at an additional cost. These can be a convenient way to maintain a consistent intake while you adapt to a new regimen. Our meal replacements are designed to be nutritionally complete and can easily fit into your plan, offering a simple, effective way to stay on track as you begin your weight loss journey.
Can I modify my meal plan?
Absolutely! Flexibility is a core part of our service. You’ll have access to a live version of your meal plan that you can modify as often as needed. Whether you need to swap out a meal, adjust portion sizes, or update ingredients to fit your preferences, our plans are designed to evolve with you. This way, you can enjoy meals that not only suit your tastes but also help you stay within your recommended macros and nutritional goals.
Investment
Do you accept Medicare?
At this time, we do not accept Medicare, and our practice does not provide services to Medicare beneficiaries. Our weight loss program is designed as a highly individualized, concierge-style service, which is not currently compatible with Medicare’s coverage structure. We are dedicated to maintaining a high level of personalized care for each patient and offer various flexible payment options to accommodate those interested in joining our program.
Do you accept health insurance?
We do not accept health insurance at this time. However, we do provide a superbill upon request, which you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. Additionally, we assist with prior authorization for any necessary medications, which can be processed through your insurance.
Are there financing options available?

What additional costs should I expect beyond the program fee?
While the program fee covers most services, you should expect additional costs for medications, meal replacements, and optional services like the MyPhenome® Test. Medications are typically covered by insurance, and we will help with prior authorization if needed.
Is the Withings Body Comp scale included in the program fee?
Yes, the Withings Body Comp scale is included in the program fee. This advanced scale provides comprehensive health insights and helps you track your progress throughout the program.
What happens if I need to cancel my program enrollment?
We understand that circumstances can change. If you need to cancel, please contact us as soon as possible. Our cancellation policy is outlined in the program agreement, and any refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
Are there any hidden fees or costs?
We prioritize price transparency, so there are no hidden fees. All potential costs are discussed during your discovery call, and any additional services or products are optional and will be disclosed upfront.
Can I use my HSA or FSA to pay for the program?
Yes! We accept Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards to pay for the program. However, reimbursement eligibility depends on your specific HSA/FSA provider and their guidelines. Generally, if the program is prescribed to treat a medical condition, such as obesity, you might qualify for reimbursement.
How are payments made for the program?
Payments are due prior to enrolling in the program. We accept all major credit cards and offer financing through ____. For convenience, you can also use FSA or HSA funds for eligible expenses.
Health and Medical Information
What kinds of lab work are included?
Labs cover a range of assessments tailored to your individual needs, including metabolic panels, cholesterol levels, and thyroid function tests. Labs are repeated to track progress and adjust your treatment plan as necessary. In some cases, specialized lab testing may be indicated and will be discussed with you prior to ordering.
How are medications handled within the program?
If medication is prescribed, we help with prior authorization for insurance coverage. You can use your insurance at the pharmacy to purchase any prescribed medications. We do not include medication costs in the program fee.
Do you provide B12 or MIC injections?
Currently, we do not offer B12 or MIC injections, as we focus on evidence-based treatments. We continually assess new treatment options and may include them in the future if supported by scientific research.
Program Accessibility
How can I access program materials and support?
You’ll have access to the patient portal, which includes tools for tracking meals, exercise, and other health metrics, as well as messaging support. You will be able access the online self-paced course as well as numerous other helpful resources to aid you in your journey.
What if I need additional support after the program ends?
For patients who wish to continue with support beyond the initial 6 or 12 months, we offer a maintenance membership program, which includes quarterly follow-up visits and access to additional resources. Every person's journey is unique, and it may take longer than the prescribed 6 or 12 months to reach your goals. In those cases, a customized offering will be discussed with you based on your unique needs with the option to extend your program.
Can I join the program if I don’t live in Arizona?
Our program is currently available only to Arizona residents due to licensing requirements. However, we are exploring options to expand in the future, so please check back for updates!
